G'day,

I'm Cassandra, the jeweller (or what I like to call a goo carver) behind Metal Bones Jewellery.

I didn’t grow up feeling naturally “artistic", I couldn’t draw or paint. But I always had creative energy bursting at the seams from every fibre of my being, I just didn’t know how to use it.

I started tinkering with jewellery back in 2015 and tried just about everything, but none of it fed my soul quite like wax carving and sculpting. I’ve been hooked on lost wax ever since.

I’ve always been drawn to interesting textures in sculpture, art, and architecture. Lost wax felt like the perfect craft to bring that love of texture into jewellery. And that curiosity completely changed the trajectory of my life!

Now I make textured, molten, raw jewellery that really feeds that creativity craving of mine. I also teach people how to do the same from home, because that’s exactly where I started. My home setup became my little escape from life and all its lemons.

If you’re curious about me as a person, I love comedy, cats, gardening (mostly just playing with flowers from Bunnings), and I love to read about anything woo-woo (think Rhonda Byrne, Joe Dispenza, Liz Gilbert).

Now that you know a bit about me, I’d love to get to know you! Feel free to say hi via my contact page if you have any questions about learning wax jewellery, creating your own piece, or collaborating on something. I'd love to hear from you!

Thank you for being here,

Cassandra x
